IMH Admissions policy

When the Indiana Masonic Home, Inc. first opened in 1916 its purpose was to serve our needy brethren, their wives, widows, children, and female members of the Order of the Eastern Star who were financially destitute.  Through the years people began to live longer and they were financially capable of taking care of most of their responsibilities.

Financial security is not the only necessity in our present society.  In advanced age the security of being taken care of when one cannot care for him or herself is also a necessity.  For this reason, the Admission Policy has been broadened to include the Greater Masonic Family.
